so he's small and he breaks easy!!!
For all you political junkies a Republican USC Trojan is going after a seat in Obama's neighborhood.
From the USC Football Board...
How's Djou doing in USC/Hawaii matchup?
Maybe it would be good for the next few weeks if USC Law School alum Charles Djou doesn't mention which team he'll be rooting for Sept. 2 when the Trojans return to the islands for the opening football game at Hawaii.
The lawyer, member of the Army Reserve, faculty member of the U. of Hawaii Law School and Republican Honolulu City Council member seemed a longshot at first in the heavily Democratic city to win the special election in May for a vacant U.S. House of Representatives seat. After all, the district is Pres. Barack Obama's home district.
"It does complicate things," Djou, who went to the same Punahou School as USC offensive lineman Abe Markowitz, was saying with a laugh this week about his USC alumni status on a national radio interview. But in an unusual winner-take-all format, Djou, the lone Republican in a field with two strong Democrats, has a real shot to win.
