Default Alec Baldwin The Liberal Nut

Emmy Award-winning actor Alec Baldwin was taken to a Manhattan hospital early today when his teenage daughter frantically called 911, claiming he had threatened to take pills after they got into a heated fight, sources said.

While the 12:10 a.m. call came in as a “possible alcohol or drug overdose,” sources told The Post that Baldwin never swallowed sleeping pills and had only threatened to do so.

The “30 Rock” actor, who lives on Central Park West, was released from Lenox Hill Hospital shortly after 1 a.m., according to sources.

“This was a misunderstanding on one person’s part. Alec was quickly released from the hospital; he’s completely fine and will be at work today,” said Baldwin's spokesman Matthew Hiltzik.

It remains unclear what the arguement was about, although this is not the first time Baldwin and his daughter, 14-year-old Ireland, have sparred.

In 2007, Baldwin blamed a bitter custody battle with ex-wife, actress Kim Basinger, in part for the anger he was feeling when he berated their daughter in a phone message later leaked to reporters.

In the voicemail, Baldwin called Ireland, who was 11 at the time, a “rude, thoughtless little pig.”

Another Libtard Father of The Year Award for him. Just once I wish he would follow through on his promises.

I blame Bush...Baldwin wouldn't be so close to the edge if it weren't for Bush....

He was in Hunt for Red October, which is a truly awesome movie, and the best of the Jack Ryan series, despite Harrison Ford playing in two of them. I also enjoyed The Shadow, which was infinitely more faithful and a billion times better than that piece of excrement Saint movie that came out around the same time with Val Kilmer.

Baldwin has earned his stripes as an actor. I also understand that 30 Rock is supposed to be really funny. But outside of the biz, he seems to do nothing except act like a complete moron and a total jackass.

Being a Dad is not easy, especially to a teenager. But this guy has exhibited unstable behavior toward his now ex-wife and at least twice to his daughter. He's also shown the same unstable behavior in public when confronted with his insane political views.

Who the heck would tell their teen-aged daughter that they would kill themselves? That isn't just "unstable" he should be institutionalized.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

don't know how many of you fuckers has kids or how you'd stand up if the worse things you've said to a spouse, kid or parent were made public.
