Jupiter church's collection vault stolen

JUPITER — After a busy run of Thanksgiving and weekend Masses, a break-in at St. Peter's Catholic Church left its collection vault empty by Monday morning.
Church officials at St. Peter's Catholic Church discovered the missing collections that morning and reported it to police.
The donations were planned for Habitat for Humanity and St. Vincent DePaul Society.
"The good news was that no one was hurt," said Ernie Toth, director of stewardship for the church.
This is the first time in its 20-year history that the church on Indian Creek Parkway experienced a burglary, Toth said.
Police are investigating the case and ask that anyone with information to call Detective Eric Frank at (561) 741-2419.
