Why did pro-choice Democrats vote to approve the Stupak Amendment, the most serious assault on abortion rights in a generation?
According to FiveThirtyEight.com, 20 of the 64 Democrats who joined Republicans to pass the measure are nominally pro-choice. We're telling these 20 Democrats -- all of them men -- to reconsider their vote and urge Congressional leadership to do everything they can to ensure the health care bill that comes out of committee does not take us back to an era of coat hangers and back alley abortions.

The bolded part is the only reason I don't like college professors teaching history. If they taught history as it actually happened and used historical documentation to explain why it happened, i'd have no problem with it. As it stands now, they teach history with a twist of how that professor wants to see it.

The history of abortion is very long and legalizing it was the best way to save lives. Its facts and I know how you guys hate facts.

your liberal bias of history is showing. That is NOT how abortion was 'legalized', because abortion was never legalized. It finally became considered a constitutional right to medical privacy, probably a few decades too late, but it was finally recognized. Not much different than the right to bear arms, about 2 centuries too late, but it finally got there.
try to comprehend things better. History is better served when delivered plainly and with documented facts. Not a conservative or liberal bias. It speaks plainly and well enough on its own.
