    Alcohol makes you dumb
    Marijuana makes you smart

    Alcohol creates overweightness & Obesity
    Marijuana has NO calories

Alcohol creates litter with bottles & cans & a don’t care attitute
There is nothing to litter with Marijuana

Alcohol creates aggression leading to , vandalism ,littering , murder , assaults , reckless driving .
Marijuana does none of these things

Alcohol is man made by the Devil himself
Marijuana is a gift of God

With Alcohol you smoke more cigarettes
Use Marijuana and you smoke less cigarettes

Alcohol = increased urination everywhere . Even on your friends , landscape or on the floor.
    Marijuana = No increased urinating

Alcohol will give you a hangover
Marijuana and there is No hangovers

Drink too much Alcohol & your dead
You cannot use marijuana and die . Impossible .
    Alcohol causes drunk driving .
    Marijuana doesn’t

Broken glass from Alcoholic beverages can be used as a weapon , can cut you , create litter .
Rolling papers can not cut you , cannot be used as a weapon or is very unlikely to cause litter .

Alcohol often causes family , spousal abuse & divorce

Alcohol & you may get sick even vomiting
Marijuana will not make you sick or cause vomiting

So…like alcohol was re-legalized by repealing the 18th amendment, which law(s) must be repealed in order to reinstate the legal status of the marijuana drug?

What a wonderful interview! Thanks for getting the message out more. I’ve emailed Fox News, and the Judge to let them know I loved the interview.

I hope to see more news about cannabis covered on TV. I love watching news about cannabis, and it’s always a changing topic of discussion.

Thanks NORML for all you do. Please continue to fight for cannabis rights, and don’t forget to promote personal cultivation rights!

I’m still stunned after having watched it. Last time I watched anything on Fox News, they sat there and badgered their guests whenever they had differing viewpoints. In this case, not only did Judge Napolitano not badger Mr. Armentano, he even agreed with him. I couldn’t help but to be utterly surprised and even stunned. I’m still chuckling that Fox News had the nerve to allow this on-air, but CNN (who has been known to have a more Democratic-lean to them) has yet to gather the cajones to have anything of the sort on-air. It’s certainly given me a bit more respect for Fox News. They keep this up and they may just live up to their motto of “Fair and balanced” yet!

This is exactly what pro-legalization people need to realize. Obama has vowed to keep marijuana illegal and so has his Drug Czar.

The GOP needs to get behind Ron Paul and push this because the liberals are against it. Just look up Alec Baldwin and Ron Paul. NORML needs to get behind the Republicans and get their support rather than the goofy liberals who always say it is for the youths.

Go FOX News. Obama is a hypocrite!

Ahh the old self rationalization routine.
Bush doubled the debt from 5 trillion to 10 trillion.
    Proving tax cuts work!

Bush asked for and signed for the TARP money.
The Republican senate leader backed Bush on this.

Wow, is Fox going Libertarian? I have to admit. I've only watched Fox once in the last year and that was on election night (oh the joy!).

I've heard Neapolitano talk on this subject before. He also advocates ending the war on drugs and adopting the public health approach. He readily admits that as a jurist he is uncomfortable with drug possesion cases in that the issue of drug dependency is an issue beyond his area of expertise. That being the Law.

Anything in excess is bad for you. Too many apples and you can die, hence the phrase "too much" or "too many". Alcohol has many positive attributes and yet is constantly demonized.

That's because next to tobacco it's ruined more lives then any other drug. You do have a point, a couple of glasses of alcohol a day is good for hypertension and arteriosclerosis, etc. Problem is, a significant portion of the population is prone becoming addicted to alcohol. Grass just doesn't seem to present quite the threat to addiction and when used excessively, though certainly not harmless, doesn't pose the health problems that excessive consumption of alcohol does.

FOX knows how to make money and get ratings. They draw more than MSNBC and CNN combined.
Somebody not in the religious nut circle saw the good rating on MSNBC's marijuana nation that they replay once a month.
I'll take it. Republicans would be smart to get on the wagon or even start driving it as a freedom issue. The dems are waffling as usual.

I just write that off as natural selection at work. If you can't exercise a little self control in your life than in all honesty, I don't need you on my planet.

Have I been drunk before? Boy have I ever! But as I have aged, I no longer feel the need to get hammered to the blackout stages. Does it still happen? Once in a great while, as it is fun after all, but not so often where it would become habit forming. Now I'd much rather just sit at the dinner table and enjoy a new beer.

Hmmm interesting politics. Can the Republicans co-opt the center using Pot reform as an issue?

That's a common misconception about drug dependence. That it's all about lack of self control. That's just plain rubbish and I know. I was horribly addicted to cigerettes to the tune of 2.5 packs a day. Quiting smoking was the hardest thing I ever did and "self control" had very little to do with my quiting. You don't control a chemical addiction. It controls you and if you want to rid your self of that addiction it's the first thing you have to realize.

I think they could. They would certainly gain a younger audience amongst the voting public.

Self control is instituted BEFORE it becomes an addiction. Afterwords it is obviously difficult. Deciding when enough is indeed enough instead of saying "Na, I'll have one more". It has always been my belief that will power alone is sufficient for anything.

I'm sorry but from a physiological perspective, that's just not how it works. Talk to any rehab specialist, they will tell you that will power or lack there of, has nothing to do with getting addicted or beating addiction.

For me beating addiction had nothing to do with will power. I was physiologically addicted to nicotene. Almost all smokers are. Will power did not get me off of cigerettes, only life style changes worked. When I made the proper life style changes, it didn't take that much will power to quit at all.

What you call a lifestyle change, I call will power, as it takes power to change, no?
