Pretty clever. The red and blue have the expected meanings, except anarchists should be red.

You know, red actually represents socialism.

    Though cowards flinch
    And traitors fear
We'll keep the red flag flying here.

Then why did the liberal who first made the red state - blue state map choose blue for the Democrats?

Probably to avoid making it seem like they were trying to call Democrats socialists.

Back in the day, each channel would use different colors. It only became standard since about Reagan's second term.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

Isn't it funny that the "standard" is nearly the opposite of reality?

The US is just about the only country in the world that uses red for right and blue for left. In Canada even, where the Liberal party is part of the pro-business Liberal international, and not the Socialist international like most left-wing parties, they use red.

That's because in the US, Liberals deny their true intentions.

SM, the difference between me and you is that I'm never serious about my hyperbolic rhetoric, while you consider your hyperbolic rhetoric to be objective reality.

i think the anarchists should be multi-colored, since everyone just does what he/she wants.
