Isn't "bad publicity" manufactured by paid teabaggers your tactic for obstructing health care reform?
Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon
Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require
veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540
million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries
to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The
President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the
opposition to his proposal.
"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody
made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the
risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It
doesn't compute.." "I thought these were people who were proud to
sacrifice for their country, "Obama continued. "I wasn't asking for
blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in
its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to
try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the
selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."
Lets hear the leftwing spin.....go

ATF decided it could not regulate bump stocks during the Obama administration.
It that time," the NRA wrote in a statement. "The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semiautomatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."
The ATF and Obama admin. ignored the NRA recommendations.

If you're trollin', you're going to have to try to sound more convincing than that.
You're just mailing it in right now...
link please. did Obama really say that in context?
Bush doubled the debt from 5 trillion to 10 trillion.
Proving tax cuts work!
Bush asked for and signed for the TARP money.
The Republican senate leader backed Bush on this.
Bravo was describing himself.

Washington Post and others including Fox News, the Obama administration met with several veterans groups on March 16 and floated the idea of saving taxpayers $540 million by billing veterans’ private insurance companies for treatment of conditions connected to their military service, including war injuries. The Department of Veterans Affairs currently bills these insurance companies for treatment of non-service-related conditions.
Two days after its meeting with veterans groups, the White House released a formal announcement saying that "the President has instructed that [the idea's] consideration be dropped."
Happy ending/.....

so you admit that you are a fucking liar?
no surprise there.
As noted from SNOPES, "Its' an excerpt from a form of satire that makes political or social points by putting outrageous words into the mouths of others...."
I should have made the satirical nature of the "quotes" clearer....my bad...
but the major point is fact....it was an idea considered and after the vets bitched it was discarded....the fact that it was even considered makes him an asshole....him, and his disciples....
