Given that this is all just dress rehearsal for September’s budget battles, and even McCarthy knew he could not let the country default, how are these revelations with the deal going to sit with the Freedom idiots in the GOP House?

When McCarthy has to have the Democrats vote to pass his deal, and other than a few, the Democrats have been relatively silent, will the wingers call for a vote to vacate the chair and entertain us again like they did in February?

Biden let McCarthy 'force' him to the negotiating table. Biden always knew he had to negotiate. So he lets McCarthy have that 'win' and takes everything else away from him.

Well apparently he did here, points the GOP were adamant about in the end will add two billion plus

McCarthy is out front and center working hard to sell the deal while Democrats are largely mum, says a lot

With all the concessions McCarthy made to get the Chair, he agreed to the one vote recall, one pissed off Freedom idiot can bring it back to February, and there McCarthy would have to rely on Democrats

Even if the Freedom COCKASSES take McCarthy down, he would still be re-nominated House Speaker.

No other Republican in the House would even want to be nominated- so long as the Freedom Caucus exists.

I agree, but I don't think he could ever get the votes again. I suspect Scalise would take the gavel. But I think Dems will save McCarthy. I think there was an understanding.
