The FBI formally refused Tuesday to turn over to Congress an investigative memo alleging a bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden, prompting the chairman of the House Oversight Committee to begin proceedings to hold Director Christopher Wray in contempt.

They indicted Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon for contempt of Congress. Get Wray off his private jet and into jail.

The Constitution is over, America is an oligarchy headed for brutal tyranny.
It shant be long before agents of the Regime show up at my door when I say this.
This illegal illegitimate regime that runs America is at fault...not me.... they do not represent me and I have long objected to their crimes against humanity.
Bidens FBI is refusing to hand over something that may prove Biden broke laws
And Libs support this

FBI declines to provide House chairman with document he claims will implicate Biden in 'criminal scheme'

Says all u need to know,,,,,Biden is a criminal and the FBI is protecting him
"Alleged" during the time Biden was V.P. Sounds like a bullshit nothingburger. If there was a spike in Biden's income it would show up in his tax returns that her did turn over, unlike fat donny.
The document the wing nut Comer is requesting is an unverified recording from a biased source. Fuck Comer and fuck the bloodthirsty trumptards in Congress.

“An FD-1023 form documents information as told to a line FBI agent. Recording the information does not validate the information, establish its credibility, or weigh it against other information known or developed by the FBI,” Dunham wrote. “The mere existence of such a document would establish little beyond the fact that a confidential human source provided information and the FBI recorded it. Indeed, the FBI regularly receives information from sources with significant potential biases, motivations, and knowledge, including drug traffickers, members of organized crime, or even terrorists.”

No, the FBI response, which you failed to mention says it all:
“Documenting the information does not validate it, establish its credibility, or weigh it against other information verified by the FBI,” the spokesperson said in a statement, cautioning that providing such information could harm investigations and judicial proceedings and “unfairly violate privacy or reputations.”
You should read your own articles.

It's explained in the article volsrock posted. You both should actually read it:
"Often, even confirming the fact of the existence (or nonexistence) of an investigation or a particular piece of investigative information can risk these serious harms," Dunham wrote, adding that it was "standard practice" for law enforcement agencies to decline to confirm or deny such facts."
Also, you both should know that Chris Wray, the FBI director was a trump appointee. Are you both claiming trump was too stupid to appoint a good FBI director?

The FBI has to answer to Congress. Congress could easily keep the document and its contents under seal allowing only the committee to see it and not make it public. Congress has that right under law as a watchdog over what the executive branch is doing. Checks and balances. What the FBI is doing is avoiding their legal duty by a weak equivocation.
I'm glad you trust Comer, the same asswipe who lied about having whistelblowers. You really expect that same nazi bastard to protect confidential sources? Haven't you learned? The current trumptard majority doesn't give a rip about protecting the country or the constitution. They exist only to "own the libs" the welfare and security of the world be damned.

False equivalence. What other things Comer has or hasn't done has no bearing on the LEGAL responsibility a government agency has to produce documents for a Congressional committee when subpoenaed for them. It isn't a choice. The agency is legally required to cough them up, like it or not. The agency can't say "No, we won't give them to you." Government employees, likewise, have no choice but to appear.
The only out is the Lois Learner route. Resign or retire to avoid the subpoena and then take the 5th.
