Default We still have Protestants in Boston!!!

This morning, I was out on the front porch with the Avatar, having my morning coffee.
Two of my neighbors came out of their house, both wearing bright scarlet shirts.
They were getting into their car, which was parked outside, out of their garage.

"Good morning", I called out. "You both look cheery in your bright red shirts."

It's "Pentecostal Sunday," the wife called out.

OK, I've omitted the usual thread ban list because I think the hillbillies may have a better grasp on this.

Before I go to the Google machine, is "Pentecostal Sunday" a real thing,
or were my neighbors just busting my balls?

It's the holy day celebrated 50 days after Easter. Catholics just call it "Pentecost." For Christians it refers to the day that the Holy Spirit descended onto the apostles.

Honestly, I’d never heard of it. Glad Christie told us.
