An "explosion" of them, eh? What kind of damage would that cause?
Or is it the new thing for a group of such cars, like a "Murder of Crows" we have an "Explosion of EVs"?
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

Evs burn at a fraction of the frequency of ICEs. https://www.familyhandyman.com/artic...than%20an%20EV. It is not close. ICE burn with far more often.
So you are saying that it is the newly coined phrase to use for a group of EVs then.
I like it.
A murder of crows... one of my faves. An Explosion of EVs... I may like it as much. <- for BidenPresident, this is an emoticon showing that I am being sarcastic or joking in some way. Please take note of it, it is called a visual que. Folks use facial expressions for that kind of thing in conversation, but we use emoticons here on the interwebs where you don't get the sheer joy of seeing my beatific face. <another one, BP... Take note.

Electric cars are probably the very near future,
and I understand the probably legitimate reasons for it.
I don't have to like it, though.
Just another diminishing aspect of the quality of life.
I wouldn't bring a son into a world where he will never hear the roar of a high compression V8 engine.

Judge Juan M. Merchan wrote that Trump “appears to take the position that his situation and this case are unique and that the pre-trial publicity will never subside. However, this view does not align with reality.”
The world is literally full of electrical outlets. There is a severe limit on gas stations, so no options for an ICE. But even if there are no electrical outlets in your life (I cannot imagine that in modern America, but hypothetically speaking), then the fact that other customers have access to electricity mean that stations cannot charge too much.
Daniel Patrick Moynihan said it best, "You are entitled to your opinion. But you are not entitled to your own facts."
Paul Begala, "Politics is show business for ugly people."
Stephen Colbert, "Reality has a well known liberal bias."
trump is a child rapist. We all know it.
Plugging your car into a 15 amp 120 VAC circuit ensures one of two things, probably both. The breaker associated with that circuit trips, and your charge takes several days... That assumes, of course, that you can plug the car in in any case.
Gasoline can go into one of these:
And you can take it to the car.
What do you put your electricity in to carry it to the car?
