Can anyone explain the logic of picking a wide receiver with your first pick when you already have two of the best in the league?

the variables involved in a draft pick need to be fleshed out. for instance, the so called two best receivers in the league..........what are their contract lengths left with the vikings? what's the salary cap involved with all 3? does another team need a veteran receiver they can trade? your question reeks of confusion
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.
