Default Trump indicted and America rejoices (video).

    Hallelujah!!!

    Happy days are here again!!!
    Republican Congressman Ken Buck:
“We’re at a time in American politics, that I am not going to lie on behalf of my presidential candidate, on behalf of my party. And I’m very sad that others in my party have taken the position that, as long as we get the White House, it doesn’t really matter what we say,”

    Dow Jones Jumps As Inflation Cools; Trump Bust Lifts SPAC Digital World;
    KEN SHREVE12:01 PM ET 03/31/2023
Major stock indexes held solid gains Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.7% at the noon hour. Intel (WMT), Home Depot (HD) led the upside.

Donald Trump SPAC Digital World Acquisition (DWAC) jumped 6% in early trading after the former president was indicted Thursday on charges of hush money payments to a porn star during his 2016 presidential run.

Several top-rated growth stocks made big gains, including software stocks like PagerDuty (PD) and DigitalOcean (DOCN). Monster Beverage (MNST) also scored a breakout.

Sentiment was positive in the stock market today after Wall Street got good news on the inflation front in the latest Personal Income and Spending report.

The personal consumption expenditures (PCE) index rose 0.3% in February, a little below the 0.4% consensus. Prices rose 5% year over year, better than the 5.1% consensus. Core prices also cooled slightly but remain well above the Federal Reserve's 2% target.

Yep. The Chicken Littles in here claiming the sky is falling are just flat out stupid. No clue about economics. That's why you can't privatize social security. They would all go broke at the expense of savvy investors like me. And I'm more than happy to take their money.

I think Americans can and should privatize their SS and have only four choices on how to invest it:

1 - Growth fund (paralleling the NASDAQ) for when they're in their 20s-30s when they can tolerate some risk.
    2 - Fund that parallels the S&P 500.
3 - Balanced fund of stocks & bond funds.
4 - Income fund for when they're approaching retirement.

Have limits on when and how much they can invest in each fund. It sure would yield a better return than the current SS yield does.

The elderly were dying impoverished on the street after the 1929 crash

It’s designed to be impervious to the market and mismanagement

Not if it has strict rules. Couldn't happen. Won't happen. You're not listening.

At least let Americans choose to leave it as it is or use my option.

Millions of Americans manage their own 401Ks and IRAs and don't end up 'penniless'.

That's only one way to invest it...the stock market.

    Social Security IS mismanagement.

    Stupid should hurt.
This illegal illegitimate regime that runs America is at fault...not me.... they do not represent me and I have long objected to their crimes against humanity.
