175 US citizens remain in the country, 42 of which are ready to leave, and as per Blinken they "are working to effectuate their departure... "are working to secure their freedom. Their families have asked that we protect their identities and don't speak publicly to their cases,"

Biden's disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan just to meet an arbitrary deadline and withdrawing the troops before the civilians has caused this.

He has blood on his hands.

Perhaps he will just laugh and joke about this as he did after the Nashville tragedy.

Look, joe heard there was chocolate chip ice cream somewhere so he hasn't got time for school shootings or Americans stuck in an inhospitable foreign country. "C'mon, man!" What are you, some kind of dog faced pony soldier?

Probably all dual citizens who didn't want to leave their Afghan families when the American withdrawal was under way.

Afghanistan wasn't even a campaign issue, even though at the time MAGAs practically guaranteed beheadings and excitedly claimed the withdrawal was an epic clusterfuck for the ages

US military never should have been in Afghanistan.

    Dual citizens are US citizens.

It has been widely reported for two years that some dual citizens stayed in Afghanistan of their own volition, because they didn't want to leave their Afghan relatives behind and have been asking the US to make accomodations for them

The fact that you want these US citizens to be hostages named Marge from Kansas City and Harry from Tulsa does not alter the facts.

Trying to paint the Afghanistan withdrawal as a clusterfuck for the ages was such a weak talking point, Republicans didn't even try to make it a significant campaign issue.

He ended a near 2-decade war.

I remember conservatives had the pom poms out for this one, and for Iraq. I have no doubt you were one of them. Do you know how many casualties both conflicts incurred? Ballpark is fine on that.

It's awesome how conservatives spill milk all over the kitchen for 2 decades, then when a Democrat takes on the massive job of cleaning up their mess, they sort of stand there saying, "you missed a spot."

some are some aren't dual citizens.
Afghan withdrawal want just criticized by Republicans, our coalition partners all criticized it

The campaign had little foreign policy debate.. the couple times Biden came out of the basement it was mostly on COVID

I wont even get intot the horrid decision not to take operational control of Kabul (offered by the Taliban) pulling out military befor civilians. and pulling out contractors from Bagram -all before the Kabul evac
