    Nope. It says NO LAW that abridges free speech which makes such a law unconstitutional but the courts have no jurisdiction over free speech of private entities.

    Courts DO have authority over private entities that are breaking the law.

    Can the federal government prohibit landlords from discriminating against, and not renting to, people based on their political views?

    Let me see. Yes, it appears that the federal government can and does prohibit that. I guess you're right.

    The federal government cannot make laws interfering with free speech and free press. It does not enhance free speech/press for the federal government to tell a private business what it can allow or not allow. That is the essence of government tyranny.

    They can prevent a business/government from discriminating against a person for his political views. It cannot require any entity to allow speech for which it does not agree. Any law telling a private business what speech it can allow or prohibit is unconstitutional.

    What law are you claiming they violated?
