I really do not think you realize how tough it is to keep on the lights. You flick a light switch, and the light comes on. You assume it is all easy. There are some very smart people working very hard to make it easy for you.

You see I point to the alt right attacking the experts as the cause of the decline. For instance, we keep cutting the spending on electrical infrastructure. Do you think the engineers who work on electrical infrastructure are trying to have their funding cut? No, it is the people who do not even know those engineers exist. They think magic keeps the lights on, so any budget for that is a waste of money.

Agreed. It's interesting to me that Perry adopted that persona, but clearly he lacks the intelligence, education and maturity to both have earned a PhD and working in that field of expertise.
