You really should read the articles you cite. Yours has this gem of a line in it about the so-called source on the Trump balloons...
And if you can’t trust an unnamed official who worked for Trump, who can you trust, right?
It also references an AP source quoting a guy from a nothing think tank (4 employees according to their own site)

Hardly a balloon or three crossing the US...
The article then downplays Trump's own denial of this occurring with:
Trump, a known liar and continued threat to the safety and security of the United States... Ignoring the incoherent ramblings of Trump for a moment...
Given the tone of the author, it is hard to accept his version of things when he is clearly heavily biased.
He then closes with this apologist tone for Biden and an unverified--as I demonstrated above--claim in a sense, that it's all Trump's fault.
Reasonable people can disagree on whether the waiting game chosen by the Biden administration was the right course of action. But the question of whether something similar would’ve happened under Trump appears to have been answered. It did.
