The New York Post is owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp, which owns many conservative/sensational media outlets worldwide. The paper is funded through advertising, subscriptions, and newsstand sales.

    Analysis / Bias

In review, the New York Post tends to publish stories utilizing sensationalized headlines with emotionally loaded wording such as “Cop cold-cocks unarmed man ‘acting irate’ at restaurant,” and “It’s time for Bill Clinton to take a walk in the Chappaqua woods.” The New York Post also republishes news from other sources, such as the least-biased Associated Press. More stories favor the right, but the NY Post does not shy away from reporting negative coverage of the right if it is a big story. They also tend to source their information properly; however, many times, the headline misleadingly exaggerates the actual story they are reporting.

Editorially, The Post has endorsed the Republican Presidential Candidate in every race since 1980. However, in 2016 they did not offer either candidate an endorsement for the Presidential election.

According to an LA Times article, the New York Post is reported to be former U.S. President Donald Trump’s preferred newspaper, which maintains frequent contact with Rupert Murdoch. The Post, According to a survey conducted by Pace University in 2004, was rated the least credible major news outlet in New York. The Post has been criticized since the beginning of Murdoch’s ownership for “sensationalism, blatant advocacy, and conservative bias.”

Overall we rate the New York Post on the far end of Right-Center Biased due to story selection that typically favors the Right and Mixed (borderline questionable) for factual reporting based on several failed fact checks.

Judge Juan M. Merchan wrote that Trump “appears to take the position that his situation and this case are unique and that the pre-trial publicity will never subside. However, this view does not align with reality.”

Politically, Forbes presents a reasonable balance through their contributors; however, when looking at articles pertaining to Trump, there are more in favor of his policies than against.

Irrelevant appeal to authority (and not much of one to begin with). Why not refute the material rather than attack the source? Or, is it that you can't refute the material and that's why you are attacking the source?

If you haven't noticed, the Leftists here, like Joke Communist et al., have nothing to argue back with except insults and ad hominem. They're attacking the sources without any attempt to rebut anything said. They have nothing to defend their senile cretin of a leader with.

Are you? You have posted NOTHING but ad hominem so far. Attacking the source instead of refuting the argument presented is a meaningless gesture.

Bullshit. Attacking the source is very relevant. You just don't like it because it destroys your argument and makes you all butt-hurt.

3 ballons crossed when Trump was in office, Did you hear about them? Trump set a precedence that Biden decided to step away from. Donnie told us nothing. Biden allowed us to track it like kids tracking Santa. It is here now here and moving there. Rightys decided that we should have shot it down earlier. Trump did not allow that to fester. Rightys are going to bitch. let them. Biden treated us like adults providing ongoing information.

No biggie, ziggy. It didn't bother Trump so why should it bother Biden? Besides, I think the Chinese are playing the US for suckers with this entire little drama. https://foreignaffairs.house.gov/chi...south-america/

Maybe the Chinese got used to nothing being done about it under trump

They thought they could just away with it

And all of this still leaves open the possibility that other adversary aircraft have flown over the U.S. during the Trump years, aside from balloons. We still don’t know why swarms of drones were flying over Colorado and Nebraska in December 2019 and January 2020. If you’ll recall, President Trump was president at that time and we never got an answer to who was behind that.
