Default Tom Brady announces he's 'retiring for good'

Tom Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion who holds every major NFL passing record, announced in an emotional beach-side video, he was "retiring for good."

The video was posted to his social media accounts one year exactly he said goodbye to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to focus on commitments off the field. He would announce his return less than 2 months later.

"Good morning, guys. I’ll get to the point right away," he said in the video. "I’m retiring for good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time. So, when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first so. I won’t be long-winded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year.....

Yawn, as he stated, he had one grand retirement, now, he’s boring. He should have stayed retired, this time he’s going out with a whimper.

I stopped liking football as an adult due to some catastrophic spinal cord injuries that occurred in the 1970s.

Two local quarterbacks, however, were so good that they enticed me to watch anyway.

In the amateur ranks, it was Doug Flutie, early to mid 1980s. He put on quite the show at Boston College.

In the professional ranks, it was the GOAT...the Greatest of All Time, Tom Brady.
I couldn't not watch with Brady playing, even though I did a lot of cringing throughout the game's mayhem.

Nothing lasts forever, but that's ok because I've had enough football for a lifetime.
Enjoy the rest of your life, Tom.

Don't let the door hit your keister on your way out, arrogant one.

Wonder if fizzling out the season makes up for losing your wife and kids to a game.

    Hubris, meet karma.

I used to love how Middle America cringed while the hip, coastal jet setter flamboyantly won game after game.

Hooray for the elite making Joe Sixpack miserable!
It was the one thing that made watching football bearable for me.
