Right, take out all the black players and you’d have a version comparable to High School football, that would pack them in on Sunday afternoon

Football was one of those things that helped relieve racist views of White people about Black people.

When Jim Brown started running through defenses like a bullet, people started sayin, You know these Black people are pretty good athletes.

Jim Brown went on to becoming a top Box Office attraction and great Western Movie Star! That was unheard of before football changed things for the better good.

His Westerns are some of my favorites!

White people found another way to use them.

    From the article

"Football is a spectacle where excessive violence is mundane, because hits that cause injuries are a constant occurrence, and spectators are desensitized to it. Consumers of the sport assume players will withstand any bodily affront, so they are shocked when a player’s physical limits are exceeded, often on very public stages. People with a vested interest in professional football rationalize excessive violence in this structured space, as well as the ones that encompass college, high school and peewee play, all because they assume that rules, equipment, and regulations exist to prevent death. But this is false protection. While this form of entertainment has been normalized, Hamlin’s injury demonstrates that ordinary violence has potentially deadly consequences, and highlights how Black men’s athletic labor sustains this brutal system.

On these playing fields, ones that sociologist Billy Hawkins would argue are never theoretically far from plantation fields, financial stakeholders value Black bodies for their productive potential and physical prowess. The league encourages and facilitates rigorous training and disciplining so players can execute seemingly impossible corporeal demands all in the service of entertainment, money-making, and insatiable fandom. In the words of sociologist and activist Harry Edwards, “like a piece of equipment, the black athlete is used.” While I am not aware of research that compares the rate of injury between Black and white football players, heatstrokes, ACL and labrum tears, ankle sprains, bone breaks, and concussions are just a few of the consequences of how these bodies are used."

The gridiron is the "plantation field"
POS write crap like that because they want to destroy sports thus make more people unhappy and are more likely to become unhinged and add to the pot of chaos across the continent to help WEF POS with divide and conquer.

Football is certainly a near-guarantee of permanent future debilitation.
Whether or not it's racist is hard to say.

We give athletes of all races, but mostly African-Americans, scholarships that they usually didn't academically earn,
and then academia uses them to go into the sports entertainment business.

The athletes want to be paid money now, because what could be very valuable scholarships are meaningless and of no value to them.

At this point, I feel comfortable in saying that all major sports in America are pretty much out of control.
I predict a colossal crash within the next few years, and that, from the standpoint of perspective, could be a good thing.

Solution: Eliminate all sports where blacks can get hurt. That or prohibit blacks from participating in those sports.
If they want to participate, make them all black leagues and disallow whites from being spectators.

Maybe for those with the Howard Cosell philosophy!

Still doesn't explain why we don't see Black Kickers or Tight End positions in the NFL.

I am still trying to figure that one out.

I don't even think it is that.

But, even though these are nuanced positions, the Cowboys have had several Mexican American kickers who were soccer style kickers, and Kansas City had a Part American Indian and Jamaican American Tight End- Tony Gonzales- probably the GOAT!

Gronk was the best of all, imo, and they don't get much whiter.

But I believe that there were father and son Winslows who had success at the position as black men, and John Mackey was considered great as well decades ago.

Gotta' love Gronk, and Kittle, and Kelse, but man there were a lot of them. I know the Cowboys, my favorite and hometown team, has had a lot of success with our star Tight Ends through the years.

So you are all for destroying sports just like democrats so people are miserable? Think! ... Preventing them from playing democrats would then label as discrimination because their goal is obviously to destroy sports and all black leagues would be segregation of which is silly if you are not racist.
