WASHINGTON — It became a regular litany of grievances from President Donald Trump and his supporters: The investigation into his 2016 campaign’s ties to Russia was a witch hunt, they maintained, that had been opened without any solid basis, went on too long and found no proof of collusion.

Egged on by Trump, Attorney General William Barr set out in 2019 to dig into their shared theory that the Russia investigation likely stemmed from a conspiracy by intelligence or law enforcement agencies. To lead the inquiry, Barr turned to a hard-nosed prosecutor named John Durham and later granted him special counsel status to carry on after Trump left office.

Interviews by the Times with more than a dozen current and former officials have revealed an array of previously unreported episodes that show how the Durham inquiry became roiled by internal dissent and ethical disputes as it went unsuccessfully down one path after another even as Trump and Barr promoted a misleading narrative of its progress.

Durham and Barr’s own fellow workers said they did this shit idiots

    They are going down

    Fucking traitors
Barr was trump's mob lawyer. He worked for twump, not for America. Garland on the other hand bends over backwards to not show partisanship - he hires non-partisan or Republican prosecutors to investigate Republicans. To Garland I say, "Why bother? The MAGAs are going to vilify anyone investigating one of their fellow Nazis anyway."

Several people involved in Durham's shameful political inquiry quit. They did not want their talents to be painted by that investigation. They tried to salvage their professional reputations.

The Republican investigation of Clinton has been going on for 32 years with nothing. Meanwhile, even Durham accidentally found trump crimes.

We know you can't intelligently reply to an argument. Can't you even take one in, or quote one correctly? Mueller distinguished collusion from criminal conspiracy and made the point that he wasn't charged with finding collusion. His investigators did find contacts between the Trump campaign and Russian operatives. Those contacts meet the definition of collusion.

except they don't......Mueller found no collusion.......he indicated things Demmycrats could look at......they did......they found nothing they could indict Trump on........you've had years and come up with nothing.......why do you continue shoving your thumb up your ass when you know it hurts and it accomplishes nothing?.......
