Actually, his own staff says he took nearly 30 million pages of documents...
Almost all the media coverage of this controversy has ignored or downplayed the dismal failure of the Presidential Records Act to reveal presidents’ records. A Washington Post analysis of the dispute on the 30 million pages conceded, “As with many issues of government transparency and document-sharing, it’s true that this is not great! You often have to wait years for requested documents, and this appears to be no exception.”

When most office workers leave a job, clearing out their desk involves a cardboard box and maybe a paper shredder. When the office worker is the President of the United States, it means military cargo planes, police-escorted tractor trailers – and getting nowhere near that shredder.
On Tuesday, the White House began the laborious process of transferring all of President Barack Obama’s records – his memos, his letters, his schedules, and, yes, his emails – to the National Archives, which under federal law takes ownership of the documents when Obama leaves office.
At the downtown Washington Archives headquarters on Tuesday, uniformed US service members were busy loading palettes of cardboard boxes stuffed with Obama administration records onto orange forklifts. The boxes, which were carefully catalogued with green slips of paper and wrapped in clear plastic, were shuttled from a loading dock and into the back of a white Ryder moving van

The Obama administration in its final year in office spent a record $36.2 million on legal costs defending its refusal to turn over federal records under the Freedom of Information Act, according to an Associated Press analysis of new U.S. data that also showed poor performance in other categories measuring transparency in government.
For a second consecutive year, the Obama administration set a record for times federal employees told citizens, journalists and others that despite searching they couldn’t find a single page of files that were requested.

All recent presidents took lots of documents with them on leaving office.
The contorted Presidential Records Act is a bipartisan scam to hide White House mischief

So, as usual, you are full of shit and have no facts to back your assertions.

LOL I think you're talking about every US Rep, Senator, VP or president. At one time or another all have had security clearance. Makes us wonder how many of our national secrets are spread all over the country. You and I are in TX, right? Let's you and I go and see what's at W.'s old ranch

There will come a day where Donald Trump is gone, but the dishonor of those who carried his water will remain.
Gosh I hope that whoever took these documents and failed to return them is found! And the fact that they could break into Mike's house and make it look like he took them and didn't handle them correctly is even more sobering.
In all seriousness this is beginning to look like a problem for both sides and for all politicians. Maybe we need to reconfigure how documents are viewed in the SCIF or how they are signed out and returned.

Thanks!
I think it is a problem out of control.
And not only that, a lot of these documents are stamped Classified by presidents with agendas and other politicians to cover up campaign strategies and agendas- and what have you?
All at a time when we need even more transparency, and less coverup, and classifying documents is just a tool that has been abused and misused to cover their bad shit up!
Often times, classifying documents is just a way to cover up things to the public, or their political adversaries, so they do now know what is really going on.
And that is why much of it is in the garages of these politicians now, and the reasons why some do not want to let go of them now!
Our Intelligence community are not the only ones classifying documents. Anyone can classify a document!

Senator Biden removed Classified Documents from a SCIF . That isn't an unintentional accident. When you exit they have a person that has your phone and electronic devices that ask you if you are "clean" before they are returned to you. Biden obviously smuggled them out for a reason. Probably to copy and sell the information to China or Ukraine where his son made million selling access to Joe Biden.

Your posts are so full of shit they should come with a biohazard warning label.
Classified documents can easily be mixed in with non-classified documents accidentally.
Trump is the only one who intentionally STOLE classified documents, took them home and tossed them in an unlocked closet.
C'MON MAN!!!!
