I had my heart attack at work. I drove 45 min. home, had to pull over to empty my stomach shortly after I left at quitting time. I had no chest pains and no pain in my arm.
I called the GF on her way to work, told her to turn around and get me to the hospital E-room because something wasn't right. They put the stint in and left me watch it on TV.
    Amazing medicine these days.
I am living on borrowed time a dozen times over.

As precaution, keep those nitro pills close by and make sure they are not out of date.
I have no nitro pills. Go back to heart doctor on Monday

When I had my heart attack, I had been short of breath for months,a week before I had the left shoulder pain.
For some reason it didn't sink in,I thought my asthma was acting up.

He may prescribe them, or maybe not. They did me.

Good luck. I saw my heart Dr. every 6 months for about 5 or 6 years, then once a year since.

If he had a heart attack, he should be carrying nitro from now on.

My pain was low, like Pancreatitis (yeah, I had that 3 times, and it sucks!) so I thought it might be something I ate.
I drove home laid on the couch and the GF asked if she should take me to the hospital and I said no. So she left for
work and I really felt like shit and called her to get me to the hospital. They wheeled me in fed me 3 nitro pills and
sent me the get scanned. Early the next morning a woman Dr. came in and explained the procedure. She was good,
    I watched it on TV.

Most of the time it is the sweat that gets folks to go to the hospital. Good on you for going before it got there.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.
