President Biden "has carefully and cautiously waged war in Ukraine with no American troops." He just "had one of the best first term off-year elections in history." Nancy Pelosi? Ron Klain? Jill Biden?

No. That was Newt Gingrich — leader of the Republican revolution of 1994, which swept him in as speaker of the House.

He comments were right on. You Trumpies continue to diminish the work of the House Speaker, President, and Congress yet they are doing things the right way and winning!

Gingrich was one of the most conservative of any Congressman or Speaker ever!

When Clinton was impeached, and Clinton went into his lame Duck, he was invited to the White House and between the two of them, they found many things they could do by working together.

There were like a record number of Bills that went to Clinton's Desk that he signed into law during the Lame Duck which turned out to be not so lame after all!

They could never had done this had they not worked together!

He knows that Congress is not there to obstruct- but to compromise and GET ER' DONE! They worked together to balance the budget and bring the deficit back to ZERO!

Gingrich, McConnell, Paul Ryan, and many other Republican leaders, past and present, know their party is in disarray, on the wrong track, and are trying to bring common sense and reality back to the GOP or they may never win the Big one again!

Trump may have destroyed the Repub party as we know it. The haters and take-over-the-country types found a spokesman who makes their Karening OK, their hatred and bigotry OK and provides a platform for Nazis and insurrectionists. Trump created dark times for America. 1-6 was the most dangerous day for America since the Brits burned down the capital in the War of 1812. This time it was Americans doing it. How far we have dropped.
Reasonable Repubs may leave that terrible party. Then no red can get elected, except in small local elections. The red house has a chance to help govern. Does anyone think that is what they will do?
