I notice that you haven't posted any numbers of your own to back that up with.

So either put up or shut up.

    Nope.

    Publix has them beat.

    Disney had 220,000 in 2022

Florida has some beautiful scenery. The company I worked for had a satellite office in Tampa. The plane landed over the bay at night. The lights, the bridge was really pretty. I remember Juniper Springs on the Ocala NF, such a gorgeous place.

Don't be caught standing outside in one of their famous rainstorms in Central FL! It's like a million buckets of water on your head at once!

Publix does have 230,000 employees but not in Florida. That represents their total employment in all states. Disney has about 77,000 employees, the largest single site employer in the world. Again your numbers were pure BS, very lazy work.

I think people vastly overestimate disneys position. They really arent doing well. If I were to guestimate I would say that Wakanda Forever might actually lose 50-100 million and thats supposedly their big money maker. They have a new star wars ride/cruise thats pretty much empty for example.

Theres a reason why Iger is back and Chapek got fired.

Because they make up their own safety codes and do their own accident investigations. I know someone who no longer has use of an extremity because of them.

Either prove it or shut your gas-blowing asshole.

I've searched the topic using several variations of search terms and they almost all come back with Publix at the top with between 220,000 and 240,000 employees IN FLORIDA.

Disney employs between 65,000 and 70,000.

But let's say you're correct and the above numbers (220,000 to 240,000) represent Publix's total number of employees across multiple states, we can easily find a very closely approximate number per state simply by taking the number of stores per state....

...then determining what percentage of their total store locations are in Florida.

Adding the number of stores per state shown above, comes to a total of 1306 stores.

The number of stores in Florida = 838 which is 64% of 1306.

Based on the three different figures regarding their total number of employees, and taking 64% of each figure....

    64% of 220,000 =140,000
    64% of 230,000 = 147,200
    64% of 240,000 = 153,600

So then based on the reasonable assumption that the percentage of Publix locations per state = the percentage of their total employees per state, Publix employs between 140,000 and 153,600 people in Florida, or at least twice as many as Disney.

Now feel free to go suck it.
