The disgusting nature of the incident aside, this is why you should never assume something you've found on the internet is "legal". Apparently, he shared some images which he found online. He didn't think there was anything wrong with doing that. At least that's what he says. The fact that there were three additional photos saved on his phone probably did him no favors.
