I hate to have his self-admitted mental illness(es) used as a reason not to support him. BUT -- he is not being treated for them, so that is a legitimate reason, IMO, not to vote for him. It would be different if he was actually under treatment and wasn't still exhibiting symptoms.

Bet you'll learn something different if the choices on election day 2024 are Biden vs Trump, just like a lot of (R)s held their noses and voted for #TRE45ON because they couldn't in good conscience (or bad) vote for Hillary or any other (D).

All things considered, if I like a candidate and what he/she stands for, and it comes out that they are being treated for a mental illness (OCD, depression, bipolar, etc.) and have successfully handled their life to that point, I would likely vote for them.
