Default Rail Strike Averted. Republicans are Trash.

This is why Republicans will lose next election again. The stance should have been "We dont force parties into contracts at gunpoint in America therefore we are voting no on everything. If the unions want to strike they can. If Warren Buffet and his rail companies want to deny the workers sick leave they can"

Instead we get this barrage of bills which will end up with Biden averting a strike and the Republicans getting blamed for the workers not getting sick leave.

No. The Constitution never gave Congress authority for fascism. They do not have authority over private rail company agreements with a union.

To be clear...rail workers get dozens of personal days already, coupled with a 24% pay hike in this contract.

The problem is the lack of workers, as the industry cut 30% of the workforce to maximize profits.

So remaining labor is being forced to work longer hours. The personal days can be challenged, but sick days cannot.

That's the only issue here. The terminology re. the dozens of personal days that the industry already gets.

That stance would further exacerbate supply chain issues, the way the trump tax on American consumers already has.

Good thing you aren't an advisor for the commies in Washington Republican politics
