I suspect there may be more than a few people here who get "medical" marijuana, one in particular I would bet is a slip and fall artist but apparently marijuana is no more effective than a placebo for pain. It's very effective at getting you high though.

The point of marijuana use for pain is not to do away with the pain, but to make it tolerable...even enjoyable if the right shit is smoked. There is some Jamaican shit that gets you laughing after a kick in the nuts.

Are sales strong for legal weed in Michigan? Here in Illinois its a massive industry with 40% of sales coming from out of state.

having studied how opioid pain relief works with the receptors in the brain, It's easy to see how marijuana does the same thing........but whether it's pills or weed, it's all short term pain relief.

I havent smoked in 30 years, but From what I hear it's about $200 to get a card and it has to be renewed fairly often. Sure would be a LOT cheaper if it was legal to grow in your backyard.

Agreed. So the card is 150, the appointment is $75. I have to renew annually. The good news...... I get the 150 back by just going to two different dispensaries. But it would definitely be easier if it was just completely legal. I suspect it won't be long.

I really don't smoke. I use a vape pen occasionally, and dab from time to time, but mostly for me, it's edibles. Gummies, chocolates, baked goods, tincture. Smoking is just too damn harsh for me. I know some people love it, it's just not my preference.
