Reasons to Report a Post
Hiii everyone
Just a quick note, recently a lot of people (not naming names obviously) from every side of the political spectrum have been reporting posts by other members over what usually seems to be trivial name calling. There really is no rule on this site against calling someone an idiot, etc.
Obviously we want to have a good environment for everyone to post, and it would be ideal that everyone get along, but realistically, that's not going to happen, and it's probably necessary that some of you get some thicker skin
For those that want to browse in a more friendly environment, we will be creating a sub-forum for that in the near future.
Obviously if someone posts private information, illegal materials, pornography, etc, we would like you to report the post. If someone is posting SICK comments, then we would also probably like our attention brought to it, if for anything just the reference point. But the rules are pretty clear on this site, and name calling isn't one of them. If someone is harassing you and you get no value out of debating that person, then it may be best to just put them on ignore and forget about them

this thread wasn't to call out anybody, it's just a general announcement that everyone should just relax and only report posts that clearly violate rules, rather than reporting people because "wow look what this guy just said to me he called me names, you should do something" (which we have been getting more and more from people of ALL political persuasions, it's not just one group of people)
