The Egyptian drought is documented geologically and the evidence is not global. Saw a piece on its discovery last night on NPR. It reminded me of the Fourth Century Asian drought that helped do in the Roman Empire, and that climate event also isn't documented in other parts of the world far as I know. Of course if you're right, world wide climate catastrophes predating the Industrial Revolution would undercut current global warming thinking. All I've seen anywhere on that from deniers are lame temperature graphs that do as much to support climate change as refute it.

Tree rings document global climate change.
    https://climatekids.nasa.gov/tree-rings/
The characteristics of the rings inside a tree can tell scientists how old a tree is and what the weather conditions were like during each year of that tree’s life. Very old trees can offer clues about what the climate in an area was like long before measurements were recorded.
    https://www.climate.gov/news-feature...limate-history
How tree rings tell time and climate history
Rings of trees growing in temperate climates can indeed tell their age through their annual rings and also help determine the age of wood used to construct buildings or wooden objects. The ages of wooden objects can be revealed by cross-dating, the process of matching ring patterns between wood samples of known and unknown ages.

    Haw, haw......................................haw.
The Coral Reef is fine. This kind of localized die-off is completely restored after a year or two. Airbases built in WW2 just above sea level are still there.

Special pleading fallacy. Summer normally has less Arctic ice.
