During the wildfires and during COVID. He did exactly what you say DeSantis is doing. He played nice with Trump because we needed federal money. Ultimately Governing requires being a grown up at times and working with people you either don’t care for or disagree with. Seems like we should want more of it, not less.

I agree we should work together and across the isle, I don’t have a problem with pols getting along, I thought the Trumppers did, maybe I’m wrong, but I remember how they treated Chris Christy for doing it. Biden and Harris had tense/heated exchanges in the primary yet he still picked her to be his VP. We can go all the way back to the founding of this country and see people who talked sh*t about each other yet still worked together (whether in the same party or not).

It’s almost like this board is full of young kids just learning about politics and surprised that this stuff occurs instead of grown ups who have seen it themselves for decades while also knowing history.
