I could never figure out why, after she came out
so loudly as lesbian (temporarily, as it turned out)?
Major studios were still giving her major roles in mainstream films as hetero, romantic leads?
What?
There was simply NO, 'straight' actresses in
ALL of Hollywood who could play opposite Harrison Ford in a romantic comedy?
Suuuure.
Maybe the studio execs thought she was perfect for them.
A lesbian who audiences could take as straight.
Thus - drawing both straight and gays to your productions.
Considering Six Days, Seven Nights grossed over $160 million?

For a film that scored only 5.9 on IMDB?

They were probably right.
Me?
I have trouble getting past people's, obvious sexual preferences in their roles.
Like - I always cringed when Sheldon kissed Amy (TBBT).
Partly because he is gay (and not exactly the butchest guy on the planet).
Partly because I thought there was almost no chemistry between the actors.
(Sheldon and Ramona had FAR, better chemistry.)
And if all that pisses off LGBTQFDKGHDKEIFHVUEOWEIGJG+79584382 people?
Take a guess how much I care?
