EV's are not a 'technology advance'. The planet does not need 'saving'. It's quite big enough to take care of itself.

'They' are just politicians forcing mandates. This is fascism.

These are the same politicians that prohibit you from charging your electric car because their power system can't handle it.
These are the same politicians that are 'for the children', even though lithium and cobalt mining involve child labor and child slavery and they also support the murder of your own offspring for convenience.
These are the same politicians that locked down the economy over a fairly benign virus, causing an economic depression that is still with us today.
These are the same politicians that are causing high fuel prices by shutting down domestic production.

    These are the Democrats.

On Labor Day (and every day) we ought to celebrate productive work and those who perform it because productive work makes our life possible and gives it meaning. However, governments everywhere have been undermining productive work, driven by a destructive climate change ideology that has developed into an obsession: stopping greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, despite human suffering.

The productive work is not being undermining. What we want is human beings being safe from destructive effects they have been causing to the environment and their health.

This assumes they are correct, which they aren't. That's the rub. If those claiming climate change is due primarily to human activity are wrong, then they are harming humanity with many of their forced solutions. The problem for those claiming human activity is to blame is they have no way to prove that their actions will solve the problem. They don't know.

However, we do know that those same people made claims in the past like with the hole in the ozone layer where their actions were taken only to see them fail utterly and completely. It doesn't argue well that they're correct this time on climate change.

You posted this in a confusing manner, imo.

You made it - to me - look like everything above the link was part of the article.

I suggest that you put ',' around the actual words you are quoting - not just put them in italics.
And place the link directly under the quotation.
Not after the quotation AND your comments on it.

    Just sayin'...

Says the man who never, EVER backs up his scientific theories with links to unbiased sources (that I have seen).

But you probably take the word of Jordan Peterson - a shrink with ZERO training on the subject?
    Over actual 'climate scientists'.
    https://www.pedestrian.tv/entertainm...limate-change/

As I have said, many times, I think global warming is a thing.
But not nearly as bad as the doom-and-gloomers make it out to be.
And I think governments should stay OUT of it.
And leave it to the public...no matter how bad it gets.

On one side - it's the 'sky is falling', far left.
And on the other side - it's the COMPLETE DENIAL, far right.

    Both of you are wrong.
And both of you - in different ways - are WRECKING things for the rest of us.

Let the citizens decide what is what.
And what to do about it.
    NOT the governments.
Or psychologists who know NOTHING about the environment...like Jordan Peterson and his incel followers.

    Yup. It's the same bunch.

The Church of the Ozone Hole, the Church of Green, the Church of Global Warming, and the Church of Covid all stem from the Church of Karl Marx. The 'solutions' are always about tyranny.

Look, I get it, "religion" is for the simpleminded, but just because YOU don't understand SCIENCE doesn't mean the science is wrong. In this case it just means you are.

Maybe if you could bother to take a science class! (Make sure to tell us you have a doctorate in engineering or some such silliness now)

I didn't create the 1st or 2nd laws of thermodynamics which you ignore, nor the Stefan-Boltzmann law. A theory of science does not require a Holy Link or a 'source'. You just want to ignore and discard them.

Yes. I deny the Church of Global Warming, utterly. It routinely (like you) ignore theories of science.

CFC's don't react with ozone. You can put CFC's into a tank of ozone and nothing happens.

It is not possible to destroy the ozone layer. See the Chapman cycle, which is another theory of science you are ignoring.

You discard science. You so far have discarded the 1st and 2nd laws of thermodynamics, the Stefan-Boltzmann law, Planck's laws, quantum mechanics (the work of Einstein, Schrodinger, and Heisenberg), and Kirchoff's Equivalence law.

    Science isn't engineering.

You can't destroy the ozone layer.
You can't create energy out of nothing.
    You cannot trap heat.
    You cannot trap light.
You cannot trap thermal energy. There is always heat.
    You cannot reduce entropy...ever.
