The top ten POOREST states are all RED states: MS, WV, AL, LA, KY, AR, SC, OK, TN and TX.
The states with the HIGHEST CRIME RATES are also RED states: LA, SC, AR, OK, MO, AL, AK and MS.
And remember all the RepubliQans who voted AGAINST certifying the election and who still haven't said Biden won the election.
Remember that when you go to the voting booth in November.

That's interesting that Texas is among the poorest states when it has the second largest GDP. California has the largest GDP and we also have the highest poverty rate but I don't know if that qualifies us being a poor state (because we do have incredible wealth). Do you have a sense of what measurements are being used?

Because the wealth is not distributed more evenly as it is in CA.
LMAO!California has the largest GDP and we also have the highest poverty rate
This lie again.
No, CA does not have the highest poverty rate because the metric you are using counts things like student loans and medical debt in the calculation...so a family in CA that has a HH income of $70K is considered below the poverty line because of the $50K loan the family took out in order to send their kid to college, or a family that has a HH income of $70K is considered below the poverty line because they have $40K of medical debt.
If you don't fudge the results like that, CA ranks #26; #1 is Mississippi.

My in-laws live there so I spend some time there. It's interesting that a state with the most Fortune 500 HQ's and has all that oil money etc. along with so many people (with money) and businesses moving from the coasts (California especially) is among the poorest. But what do I know, haha.
