Grace Hopper was brilliant, and she was actually pretty cool. She was also the first Admiral in the US Navy who was female. She was another tour de force much like Rickover and nuclear power.
If PA is banning writing computer code for girls then it's probably to their benefit. Coding sucks big time. It's figuring out the algorithms that's fun and where the money is at. Being a code monkey is slavery.

I was also a nuke, and when I went to college one of my undergraduate degrees was in programming. I figured, like Sun Tzu says in his The Art of War, "Know your enemy and know yourself and you'll win every battle. I figured out early on that computers are the enemy. Those rat bastards remember everything and if somebody is out to get you, they'll use what you put on a computer to do it...
As to your question, it's clear that Lefty doesn't have a clue about who Grace Hopper was... But I do, and I showed that. Watch that Letterman interview, she makes Biden look like an imbecile and she's at least as old in it.
Oh, Hopper invented an early computer language, COBOL (COmmon Business Oriented Language) the first database language. It was cumbersome and dreadfully boring to code in but it is still in use today simply because some systems are so large that use it it's too expensive to replace.
