Default The hypocrisy couldn’t run any higher

”Sinema in speech at McConnell Center says 60-vote Senate threshold should be restored”
    https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/...d-be-restored/

“Kyrsten Sinema is getting some high praise from Republican leader Mitch McConnell”
    https://www.politico.com/minutes/congress/09-26-2022/

Of course Mitch has high praise for Sinema, after he broke established precedent by not even offering an interview to the President’s nominee, and then slammed thru three SCOTUS Justices on a majority vote, one in record time, he now praises calling for a return to a sixty vote requirement

Appears Mitch realized what goes around ones around, eventuality all the nominees he approved will easily be matched by the Democrats erasing his legacy

She's actually correct here. With our current system within the Senate, this would be best. Better, we could repeal the 17th Amendment and correct the disaster that brought on.

Oh, the 17th Amendment is an excellent example of why we shouldn't elect a president by simple popular vote too.

Just as almost all of America agrees that Barr sucks I think also almost all of America agrees that Mitch McConnell needs to go.
This illegal illegitimate regime that runs America is at fault...not me.... they do not represent me and I have long objected to their crimes against humanity.

I’d agree, but as I said, ain’t happening, when Mitch broke historical precedent he opened up the gate, set a new precedent, one which will some day erase the legacy he was trying to establish

And popular vote is democracy, without it, we become a political plutocracy, we are a Democratic Republic, we elect our leaders democratically to serve in the Republican form of government

Do you even know what the 17th Amendment changed and how it affected the selection of senators? Your answer says you are an ill-informed retard.

She really doesn't know. The GOP would never lose the Senate.

Let me know when you're in a 330-mile radius of San Diego. We can play some poker and have a few beers.
