After tomorrow’s general election in Italy the dominant party is expected to be the ‘Brothers of Italy’, widely regarded as the heirs of fascism, with Berlusconi’s Forza Italia as junior partners. Putin boot-lickers have been attempting to revise history and exuse Vlad's failures by claiming Putin never wanted to conquer Kyiv and Ukraine. The tale they tell is that Putin is perfectly happy just to defend the thin sliver of land he currently occupies along the shores of the Sea of Azov.

Putin would have put people in charge who would follow his orders. It was an attempt to take over Ukraine so Russian oligarchs and Putin would get even richer and more powerful. Wars are about money. This one makes that super clear.
