Re the abusive and deeply corrupt DOJ:

We cannot expect people to have respect for law and order until we teach respect to those we have entrusted to enforce those laws.
This illegal illegitimate regime that runs America is at fault...not me.... they do not represent me and I have long objected to their crimes against humanity.

    And it changes NOTHING.

Don't you see how few people around here, seem to not take you seriously?
Probably, largely, because you run around screaming 'the sky is falling' China own us'.

And yet offering NOTHING, EVER to back up this perspective?

    Answer me this, please?
Why should ANYONE take you seriously if you NEVER, offer ANY evidence of what you claim?

I will give you one attempt to do so.
The second it appears you are spewing forth nonsense...I will move on.
    Not my problem.

I do what I do, you do what you do.

I see what is coming so I yell warnings.

    I did my part.

    Hunter S. Thompson's, suicide note.

Why anyone wants to be old?
And why SO MANY people put up with it for so long?
Living to 75, 80 and as long as possible?
    Is beyond me.
    Fear of death, I suppose.

I seriously cannot think of a single reason why I would want to be 80 years old.
Perhaps, when you close in on 80, you’ll find a reason or two.

    Morose because it was February?
Hunter S Thompson is going to off himself because football season is over?

    I never knew the man.
    But I think not.

    Anyway, it's his life.
    Not yours.
    To end whenever he wishes.

And again...his family has stated that they (in essence) completely understood why he ended it when and how he did.

    He was fine with it.
    They were fine with it.

    That is all that matters.

    Well said.

    But God!!!
    I hope not.
At least, not enough reasons to stay alive.

    I am only middle aged.
    And already I despise it.

    ZERO.

NO data or facts or even quotations...to back up your 'doom and gloom' posts.
Just the word of a faceless, nameless, online nobody (no offense intended).

This is why - it seems - so many people do not take you seriously on this.

He wrote reports for ESPN amongst all his other sins and the season had finished. Anyway waste of time talking further, you'd obviously never heard of him before now. I used to read his articles in Rolling Stone back in the day, great writer but a crazy bastard as well.

Ah, man! Get up and watch a sunrise. Find a stream to sit near and just listen. Maybe divorce yourself from politics for awhile. Hike a little. Run a little. Fish a little.

There’s a lot of cool stuff out there that doesn’t involve people.

Thank you for the kind advice.
However, my dislike of middle age is nothing to do with the people in my life.

It is to do with the fact that I can no longer 'play' as I once could.
My body simply cannot do it.

And when I am old - if I live that long?
I will be able to do far less than I still can...which even now is not nearly enough.

And it is not just me.

'About 58% of people aged 65 and older believe that it is “normal” for people to get depressed as they grow older.'
    https://www.mhanational.org/depressi...lts-more-facts

In other words - most seniors are depressed.
The difference is that they accept it as 'normal'.
    Whereas younger people, do not.

Many of my friends are seniors.
Not one of them does not seem to be depressed in one way or another.
And the amount of physical ailments, most seniors have is staggering.

Sorry...if you are relatively happy (or better) in said old age?
    Power to you.
    Seriously.

But if a 'god' offered endless life to me?
But the catch was - that I would have to remain as I am...forever?
I would probably tell him/er: 'pass'.

And if I were old when he/she made the offer?
I would DEFINITELY tell them - 'PISS OFF'.

    You do realize?
The fact that you overreact SO strongly and easily to the simple truth?
Shows how unhappy and unsure of yourself that you truly are?

Happy/contented people do NOT get as angry, as quickly, as you often do.

If you want people to take you seriously?
    I suggest you remember that.
    And drop the arrogance.
It seems to be getting you nowhere.

    We're done here...for now.

    Good day.

Sounds like you DESPERATELY need one.

    Yeah, I get all that.

I had my 50th high school reunion this weekend. Enjoyable and depressing at the same time. Some still look pretty good, some like death warmed over.

The difference, I noted, was that those who looked the best were those that were physically active. Not the same as when we were in high school, of course. But, at a more moderate pace. Some walked and hiked versus running. Some changed from tennis to pickleball. That type of thing.

I saw it in my parents and my wife’s parents. When one quits moving, that’s the beginning of the end.

    Keep moving, man!
