America has the tech. It's the funding and focus that matters.

I grew up with the Space Race. This testimony by Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson before Congress is very inspirational for those who still want to live life as a mortal:

God bless America and those who defend our Constitution.

NASA's delayed Artemis rocket launch to Moon shows perils of liquid hydrogen fuel
But by far the most challenging problem is working in cryogenic conditions.

Hydrogen can slip through the smallest of cracks, especially when it is chilled under pressure, and ultra-low temperatures can make materials — even metal — brittle.

"If you hit steel at that temperature, it will just shatter," Mr Scott-Kilsby said.

"It's one of the reasons that SpaceX and a lot of new companies have moved away from hydrogen, because while you get that peak performance, those additional challenges offset the benefits."

Colonizing another world will simply accelerate the dumbasses' destruction of this one.

We don't even have an ocean floor habitation yet. Dumbasses.

Remember Apollo 1 fire and the so called pogo effect, properly speaking, a thrust axis vibration response on the Apollo 6 J2 engines.

Shockingly enough todays fueling test proves that NASA has not solved the problem of leaks by changing some parts and using a new procedure. This now certainly looks like design failure.

NASA will almost certainly want to try to launch on the 27th, but the military is now in charge of public safety and must issue a launch permit.

Does anyone know the NASA record for most consecutive non weather related scrubs deep into the countdown?

    No. Sorry.

Why do you continuously see the world in a negative light, #10? As a kid were you always looking for demons and shitty deals, or did you love life? What happened to clog you up?

Do you see most people as good or bad, #10?

They had a fuel leak above allowed limits and had to shut down fueling, but this test has been proclaimed a success.
