    My wife used to until we eliminated most wheat from our diets. It saves a lot of labor and clock watching. I know, because I used to watch my grandmother make bread the old fashioned way.

    Even if you transfer the dough into a traditional shaped pan for the oven phase it saves a lot of time. Doing so also makes the blade far easier to clean, because it never goes through the bake cycle.
