I am satisfied that he committed both of those crimes. I agree he should be prosecuted.

It is good to know that the DOJ is definitely conducting a criminal investigation into the conduct of Donald Trump while he was president. That much is out there. Everything else is quite the object of much curiosity. The DOJ is under no obligation to make public statements about the case. That is going to keep everyone guessing and nobody knowing until we hear more. It would probably be to the DOJ's disadvantage to make any public statements about the case, so don't expect much more.

Merrick Garland will have to decide if he can bring a case against Donald Trump. The decision will be based on whether or not he believes he can prove a case. Since it would be bad if he brought a case he could not prove, he needs to be as certain as possible that he has the goods on Trump. The January 6th Select Committee is uncovering more evidence as time goes by, so expect the DOJ to be patient to see what else comes to light.
