Default Mitch McConnell Is Shook About Not Getting the Senate Majority Title Back

The Senate minority leader thinks Republican chances of gaining Senate control are slim due to candidate quality.

McConnell is already downplaying thoughts that the Republican party will overcome the 50/50 margin in the Senate, citing candidate quality as one of the reasons.

“I think there’s probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate. Senate races are just different — they’re statewide, candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome,”

“If we have to have a choice between being dead and pitied, and being alive with a bad image, we’d rather be alive and have the bad image.”

    — Golda Meir

If he's want to talk about bad candidates, he can start with Mehmet Oz. There's something 100% fishy about the way carpetbagger Oz burst onto the scene, pretended he has deep roots in PA and then won the primary election. My theory is that the RNC decided the only way a Dem could be beaten is if they ran another TV celebrity who's a trump clone.

Oz is so out of touch with regular Pennsylvanians. He had a Mitt Romney moment when he screwed up a campaign ad about grocery shopping. We don't use the word "crudités," Oz, we say "veggie tray." And we don't have a grocery store called "Wegners" either. Mentally Oz is still shopping at Wegman's in NJ.

Fetterman has trouble making complete sentences since his stroke...

Then there's his platform. He wants to make half the state of Pennsylvania unemployed while defunding the police and doing a bunch of other radical Leftist crazy shit. Oz is "out of touch?" Fetterman is on another planet.

So, while Oz might be a poor candidate, electing Fetterman is to get it in the ass dry and fast.

Between the RW activist justices stripping away American rights and Pedo Don's theatrics and threats to murder FBI agents, I can see why Mitch is worried.

Let's hope Pedo Don announces he's running for President before the election! It'll turn over the Republican apple cart bigly. LOL

Fetterman is campaigning again. He is giving speeches, and out talking to people. Meanwhile, Oz is in hiding. Why?

Fetterman is actually in office right now, so we know you are wrong. We know what he stands for, which is why he will almost certainly win.

Oz takes different positions depending on who he is talking to.

We already elected Fetterman, and everything was fine. Who knows what Oz will do.

BS. Read a legitimate site for a change.

We have a radical, wack-a-doodle RWNJ with his crazy shit running for governor. You'd probably love him.

E tu, Brute? We have a #TRE45ON-approved 2020 election denier running for gov. here, too. Where do they dig these clowns up at?

What Dems need to do is make this election a referendum on Trump worship, on reproductive rights, and brag about being the most legislatively productive congress of the 21st century.

Understandable, Mitch sees the reality, with the lineup of several whackos and Trump wannabes the GOP has running, ie. Walker, Oz, Johnson to name a few, the Senate is up for grabs

Quite noticeable in several races for both the House and Senate a lot of GOP candidates are staying as far away from the Trump label as they can, where I live the Republicans in a Congressional GOP primary refuse to debate each other clause one candidate keeps asking the others where they stand on Trump

I think all they have to do is vocally support trump. Look at J. D. Vance, for example. He used to be a trump critic, changed his mind, and now he's a republican darling in OH.

Ah yes. One of our favorite always-wrong-because-stupid JPPers posted some quote from him yesterday, claiming that it doesn't matter if #TRE45ON had classified/sensitive documents at his house because he has the power to just wave his magic wand and make everything declassified. Seriously, the twat believes that! "Here, Vlad, the launch codes are in this McDonald's sack, along with a cheeseburger and large fries. Don't worry, they're declassified!"
