A recession is caused by a drop in spending.

So if you pull your spending back, and I pull my spending back, and the government pulls its spending back, how is the economy growing?

With less than 5 percent of world population, the U.S. uses a third of the world’s paper, a quarter of the oil, coal and aluminum, and 19 percent of the copper.

we need to consume less. that is the point - when a steroid junkie starts showing health problems, you don't give them more steroids, you take them off

Once again, no plan to tackle the recession because you're too fucking dumb to think of one.

You say everyone should tighten their belts, but that only reduces spending further, prolonging the recession.

So your plan to fight the recession is to make it worse.

That sounds about right for you clowns.

No. People need to be paid more. Wages need to inflate at the same rate as prices, and if they don't, then prices need to inflate at the same rate as wages.

But again, that would require you to have a plan, which you don't have because you're dumb.

My plan is to allow for a recession - that is the green path forward too.

You idiots think you can print your way into fixing the economy and the environment. fools

You have no fucking idea what you're talking about, and you just realized how far out of your league this subject is.

No fucking plan, no ideas, just running your big, fat mouth.

You are exactly as dumb as I said you were earlier in this thread because you've been unable to articulate anything that resembles some kind of plan for combatting a recession.

I think your plan is to not have a plan.

so America - with 5% of the population but using up 33% of the resources just isn't paid enough

if we are paid more - we will consume even more numbnuts - and more people will line up to break in because they want more too.

That's not a plan, that's a surrender...and I find it wholly in character for you to throw up your hands and give up when it comes to complicated things you don't understand.

that is how things work. you can't demand that we only grow in value - that is not capitalism, that is bullshit cronyism

Because we can do exactly that, it just requires you to ditch all the bullshit that has been drilled into that empty head of yours by people as dumb as you are.

So your plan to combat a recession is to just let it happen and hope it ends at some point on its own, even though no recession has ever ended on its own.

The only reason we are in a recession is because spending has declined, and the reason spending has declined is because 99% of all workers haven't seen a meaningful wage increase in over a decade.

How do you think an economy grows if not primarily through consumer spending?

yet 5% of the population is using 33% of the global resources

you can't reconcile your whine with this fact - America already consumed more than it should be - and every Green knows it.
