Agreed, but it shows declining trust among Americans (for whatever reason). 9-11 caused a temporary increase in trust.

And then look at how profoundly we were betrayed....Iraq rapidly sped up the end of the US as a Superpower.....it was at best insanely stupid...at worst it was the result of treason.

America is soft, and spoiled, and not that smart.

If they think it's corrupt, THEY can change it. Just watched that expose on the billionaires in TX basically running the political show there. Voters COULD take the power back - vote out the candidates propped up by these guys, and vote in candidates who will advance campaign finance reform and other values that would lessen the influence of money.

But they don't. They just complain that things are 'corrupt.' They have ALL the power to change that, and most can't even be bothered.
