What will prevent a mass shooter?

    A Gun Free Zone?

All these recent shooters were KNOWN by cops!! Before they killed

Please note that murder spiked in 2020. Wanna guess why? LOL

$20 says the Gun Banners will use the 2020 data for another decade.

    https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tan...hs-in-the-u-s/

How has the number of U.S. gun deaths changed over time?
The 45,222 total gun deaths in 2020 were by far the most on record, representing a 14% increase from the year before, a 25% increase from five years earlier and a 43% increase from a decade prior.

Gun murders, in particular, have climbed sharply in recent years. The 19,384 gun murders that took place in 2020 were the most since at least 1968, exceeding the previous peak of 18,253 recorded by the CDC in 1993. The 2020 total represented a 34% increase from the year before, a 49% increase over five years and a 75% increase over 10 years.

The number of gun suicides has also risen in recent years – climbing 10% over five years and 25% over 10 years – and is near its highest point on record. The 24,292 gun suicides that took place in 2020 were the most in any year except 2018, when there were 24,432.

I'm good with psych tests and skills requirements for gun ownership as long as we mandate it for all the other rights too, both enumerated and unenumerated like free speech, protests and voting.

If we're going to clamp down on freedom for people's own good lets make it "right". LOL

Amazing how after sixty plus posts not one regarding the point made in the topic post, we know only a percentage of the actual toil that gun violence has taken on America.

Seen the usual discredited bullshit rebuttals, “what would you do,” “cars kill more,” “best defense is a gun,” “can’t ban guns,” “my freedom,” “move,” etc., but nothing addressing the fact that the gun manufacturers via the NRA via the Republican Party do their best to purposely limit our understanding of gun violence, we can’t even assemble accurate statistics

As we strive to find a cure for cancer does anyone go out of their way to limit what we can know to address the problem? But seemingly this is done for guns, why?

false equivalency - I will never expect cancer to protect me from dangers

Even when we see it unfold in real time - people fearing for their lives and refuse to act to protect children for a full hour - you would still seek to disarm us - and pretend that you have solutions if we would only listen to you.

you are a moron. plain and simple.

things unfold in front of you and you are still too fucking dumb or stubborn to see that the humanity is going to screw up your plans because they fail to take into account that humans won't do what you want when you want and you can't force them to.

Speech never killed large numbers of innocent people in seconds, and all of those rights listed in the Bill of Rights are regulated, always have been, guns are no different

All rights are based upon reason, not desire

AKA Trump's fuck up of the COVID response followed by a pussified population who can't handle any form of hardship.

Remember the Greatest Generation? Raised in WWI followed by the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl, Prohibition and capped with WWII where the US lost over 400,000 of our young in under 4 years? Limp-dicked dipshits whining about masks and vaccinations would never have made it. They'd all be in the psych tent shivering about how scared they are and how their mommy says they have "rights".

Remember the Brits sheltering in "the Tube"? The fucking morons whining about masks would never have made it because they're all like this self-entitled, narrow-minded asshole:

You should practice that in the mirror first before you look silly saying it.

"No one is free if they have to live in fear of nuclear annihilation" or "The Israelis have never been free because they live in fear of constant attack by the fucking Muslims". See what I mean, Vern?

BTW, how come only Legion and Lionfish love to call you "anchovies"? Is there a backstory to that or simple-minded trolling on their part?
