Default Average Gas Price Falls Back Below $5 A Gallon—And Could Keep Dropping

NE The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in the U.S. fell to just under $4.99 on Saturday, according to AAA, marking the first weekly decline in nine weeks as oil prices have fallen back from multi-year highs
Analysts appear divided about whether the recent oil price decline is a sign of a broader sell-off or if a nearly seven month-long surge in prices will continue. Patrick De Haan, GasBuddy's head of petroleum analysis, tweeted Friday that "the national average could fall to $4.55-$4.75/gal in the weeks ahead unless trends shift."

To do that we need to have another Trump economic disaster. Millions unemployed, thousands of companies going out of business, a stock market that all but crashes, massive expansion of debt. Yeah, lets bring that back again to make you happy.

I just answered that, and have done so for you before. But its enjoyable, so we can bring back Trumps massive unemployment, put thousands of companies out of business, all but crash the stock market, Create record debt, and we have Trumps gas prices.

Revisionist history TDS style. Trump economy was booming until covid shutdown. Shutdowns have now ended, covid is in the rear view mirror and Biden is dragging us into a real recession.

Demand has been dropping and there is no recession. You should be please to see lower prices, but you aren't. I wonder why.

It was trumps reaction, and the lies he spread that caused the Covid shutdown. Then pent up demand, has in large measure, led to inflation.

The extended shutdowns in democrat run states were political not medical. Democrats purposely destroyed our economy in order to get Biden elected. They then ended their shutdowns thinking everything would magically return to the Trump era boom times. They didn't realize the damage they had inflicted and now here we are going into recession when the economy should be roaring back to life.

    Meh.

Wake me up when prices return back down to $2/gal... Heck, even $2.50/gal

Oh wait... that won't happen so long as the usurper Biden remains installed in the White House...

Handjob, I have told you numerous times what we have to do to duplicate trumps gas prices. I know you would welcome massive unemployment, since you dont give a shit about anyone but yourself.

There was no "Trump economic disaster". The COVID shutdowns were caused by DEMONKKKRATS, dude... It is THEIR economic downturn. We are currently in a depression because of it. DEMONKKKRATS own it, as it is their policies that caused it.

    All caused by Demonkkkrats...

You also completely ignore the THREE YEARS BEFORE COVID in which gas prices were very low (around $2/gal here in Wisconsin). Why wasn't "Big Oil" "price gouging" during all of those years?? Why did they only come up with the brilliant "price gouging" idea once Biden was installed?? Do you even know what their profit margins are?

Why do you think that Putin controls the world's gasoline prices, food supply, and our elections? I didn't know that Putin was a world dictator...
