normally that's how it goes..im just wondering if he wants to do it or spend the full term here..he's still young and can run next time, but I would be surprised if he doesnt do a POTUS run now

Plus we kept kids in school. that right there is heads above other states

Too many damn blue states moving down here though, especaily NY - which is losing population
When i moved here in 1999 (just in time for Bush v Gore) we were at 16 million. now our pop. is 22 million

I keep telling everyone not to come down -the roads are jammed, but they keep coming
    People vote with their feet
First off, since DeSantis had the State withhold statistics, and in some cases edit numbers, no one knows for sure Florida’s Covid numbers, and, given Florida had a three month head start to prepare for Covid, I wouldn’t say “midpoint” is all that celebratory

Large number of those “moving” to Florida are snowbirds, not surprising given the now retired Boomer numbers, they stay seven months to get State citizenship, and then book back and forth as they please. Them there gated communities are growing

Then based on that thinking, currently, no one, not one person in America is currently campaigning for the 2024 election, why do you think then DeSantis has already visited Iowa, more than once, plus Nebraska, Kentucky, and several other Midwest States?

They would never run on the same ticket, egos too big, and you’d also have two candidates from the same red State and geographical area

Please…I live in Oklahoma. Not much different other than bordering an ocean and a sea. Politics and health care are pretty much the same.

no the numbers weern't edited, that crazy woman that got fired claimed they were.
And im not talking case counts -meaningless - i mean hospitalization and deaths

And it's not just "gated communities" Orlando is busting at the seams.
Universal is building a whole new park. . everything is growing - but mostly condos and apartments

Snowbirds aren't residents - they came an go with the seasons -
you have to spend 183 days in a years here to be counted as a resident

Gerrymandering doesnt effect a state wide election. "election police"? lol
Newsom is the one running ads outside Ca. I dont think DeSantis is

Wrong, in fact, exact opposite is true, and if weren't for those blue states paying taxes a whole lot of red states wouldn't be able to meet their State budgets

You don't have to die nor even go into the hospital to suffer from Covid, and if DeSantis did the job you claim he case counts are also relevant, especially as I said, he had a three month head start to get ready

Yeah, gated communities near Orlando, isn't the Villages just north of Orlando

Exactly, 183 days equates to two days over six months, and once established, they come and go as they please, often spending two or three months in Florida

DeSantis has made trips to several MidWest States, Iowa several times, and with Federal positions on the ballot as Congress, gerrymandering can effect the turnout knowing your vote is just about useless

And as for DeSantis's election police:
