    Default DeSantis or Trump

The media pushed Trump's candidacy in 2016 largely because they thought he was the most defeatable republican candidate. Now the media is still trying to make up for their past "mistake" by bashing Trump at every opportunity. Are they unwittingly making DeSantis stronger by bashing Trump? Will they again live to regret their meddling?

This is like a choice between having cancer or AIDS.

Sorry, but reporting the news is not "bashing" no matter how much you wish it were so.

You mean the guy who tried to overthrow the government or the little fucking Nazi that copied him?

    Neither.

    Thanks.

I would like to get the chance to vote for DeSantis. We’ll see what happens. I might change my mind between now and then.

Damn...you beat me to it. Although I was thinking between cancer and tuberculosis.

Why? Tell me what you think he's done for Florida? How has he made the state better?

I like every single thing on the linked page…and yes, I know it is a “toot your own horn” type of page but I can’t find anything to dispute what is listed. It’s just the easiest page to link.

Then throw in that he proclaimed Sarasota the rightful winner when she was beaten buy a guy… https://www.wfla.com/news/gov-desant...ender-athlete/ And I know people will say he just did that for publicity reasons or to throw some red meat to his base but I’m sorry, it’s his (and others) willingness to publicly call out and point out the stupidity of such a situation that resonates with regular folks, IMO.

Then throw in his willingness to stand up against and take action against certain Disney policies … I like anyone who stands up to companies like Disney.

Also the media rarely, if ever says anything positive about him, so that’s a plus in my book.

Bear in mind I don’t like everything about the man (I don’t agree with ALL of his education policies, our views on abortion differ slightly, etc.), but that’s kind of what politics brings out in us, isn’t it? I mean, I don’t know that I’ve ever voted for someone who is the cookie cutter image of leaningright. We have to take the bad with the good.

^ You must really like Joe Biden then.

So you want your President to be a culture warrior. Not me. Suit yourself.

    Both.

Trump for president, DeSantis for VP.

The ‘beauty’ of politics, makes so many wish for the death of others. Haha.
