YOU may be lazy and stupid, but the landscaper guys I heard hitting the lawns by 8:00 am on the 3rd and the 5th (despite the gas price crunch) sure as hell are not. Nor were the cops, firemen, power, water and gas company employs at work on the 4th, nor are the hospital staff from custodians to surgeons to ambulance drivers, etc., etc.

Oh, and the Constitution was written by a bunch of guys who had the "understanding" that blacks and native folk weren't fully human beings, women were expected not to vote or hold office or do "mans work", and the only people who could vote were European descent land owners. Only through Amendments and SCOTUS rules did things change over 200 some odd year period.
